No, I don't know why I couldn't leave this until a sensible time either.
Happy not-so-new year! I would like to say I've been busy dolling since December, but not so much. Still, a shiny new layout and
twelve new dolls (though nine are a set).
Also fixed the e-mail address on the terms of use page, did a little tidying up, nothing major. You know the drill, if you see anything
obviously broken or looking like it belongs on the last layout, please let me know!
For anyone else suffering creativity-block, try wasting time at colourlovers.com.
Anyone want to bet that I'll update again this side of June? Anyone?

A proper Big Update this time to make up for the wait (I blame NaNoWriMo as well as my usual laziness). A tutorial (which is kind of
four and a half tutorials), a new base called Philippa, and a new doll.
Also, would anyone be sad to see the very, very old Guys' Hair tutorial go? It is, frankly, awful, but if anyone finds it at all
useful I'll leave it up.

Okay, that last month wasn't my fault because I clearly fell through some sort of hole in time and space which cause time to suddenly leap forwards.
There's no way a real-time month has passed since I last updated. No siree.
With that settled, I have three new dolls (all in misc.) and a new portrait base. Enjoy!

Sorry to have vanished for a while - the sad part is I really didn't go anywhere, I just played a lot of sims XD.
I have a couple of new dolls, and a new tutorial, and with
any luck I'll update again before, say, October.
I haven't finished a doll since June, but I'm working on it, I swear.

A bit of a longer wait than I would have liked - work is mad busy at the moment so I don't have much enthusiasm to update
during the week, and if I miss a weekend (and the next, and the next) suddenly a month has passed without updates. Sorry about that.
But I seem to have gone temporarily (ha!) mental and I'm attempted Make a Doll a Day in May at
TG, so with any luck there'll be more
regular updates this month - at the very least you can keep up with what I've done
here. I've put the first couple up here, plus
another few dolls in Characters that I've been hoarding for the past couple of weeks.
And in answer to a tag left on the board - you won't get a base tutorial from me because I still use the same technique I learned
from Wayuki's tutorial. For those using MS Paint,
Ninique has a rather lovely base-making tutorial too.

Another update, another doll. Something a bit smaller because the big one I was trying to do
kept being a pain and not working, so I opted for something a bit smaller just so I could finish one.
Having taken a break from the bigger one, now I feel a little better about what I have so far - hopefully
she'll show up here soon. Famous last words if ever I heard them.

Miss Doll International. Have
been slaving over these two for the better part of a week so I'm kind of sick of the sight of
them now! I've also updated some base credits (thank you to everyone who has told me where to
find people).

Watermelon Bubblegum lives!
All things considered, it was not a terribly long break, albeit quite a sudden one.
I had rather lost my enthusiasm for dolling when my host decided not to renew her domain,
so was happy enough to let the site die. But now my enthusiasm is back and so is WB :).
Everything has been tidied and a fair amount of older rubbish has been taken down.
I have removed dead links from the links page and base credits (assuming I didn't miss
any, which I quite likely did). Please, if anyone knows of a new websites/deviantart accounts/etc.
that a linkless base-maker has, please let me know so I can add the link (and because I
always like to know where old favourites have moved to).
I have one new doll and handful
of new bases in the works, though they won't be ready for some time yet. I got distracted by
playing websites.
I'd like to think I've checked the site pretty thoroughly to make sure it's working, but
if you find something that's gone a bit haywire please let me know.
